CHANGING OUR BIRTH CULTURE

The Uma Center is a place for Women, Mothers and Families to come for support, education, and resources during the childbearing years and beyond. The center is a place to explore the facts and myths surrounding birth and gain a better understanding of our birth culture and birth history.  It is a common ground for those preparing for childbirth, birthing, adopting, becoming a parent, raising children, and managing a family. It is a place to gather and share wisdom. We support all types of families and all types of people :)  At the Uma Center, we believe...

We are an official chapter of BirthNetwork National, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, whose mission is to promote the awareness and availability of Mother-Friendly maternity care. 

As with all things organic, the UMA Center will grow to reflect the needs of our community with the input of the women and families who will shape it.
